Visiting Taittinger in Reims

A Taittinger tour can be an introduction to two house cuvées or a longer appointment centred on Comtes de Champagne. Choose the named format and its language first. Then give the rest of your Reims day enough room for lunch, transfers and the return to Paris.

Compare the current cellar experiences

Official advertised formats checked 24 October 2026. All four were listed as including a cellar visit; check the current selector.

The selector lists these formats in French and English, but you must select an actual English departure. Prices and available products can change. A tasting pairing is not sufficient evidence that a full restaurant meal is included.

What Instant Rosé includes

The official Instant Rosé page describes a presentation video, a guided cellar visit, an introduction to Champagne production and a tasting of Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé. Its advertised total duration is 1 hour 10 minutes. The booking interface separates adult and younger visitor categories. Taittinger: Instant Rosé and practical information.

If this is your first house visit, read the format and ask whether it matches your interests before adding a second appointment elsewhere. If you specifically want a different cuvée, select the product that actually names it; do not assume a house’s whole range is poured on every visit.

Where to arrive and what to bring

Taittinger gives the visitor address as 9 place Saint-Nicaise, 51100 Reims. It asks visitors to arrive 5–10 minutes before the reservation and advises a warm layer for cellars at approximately 12°C. On-site parking is described as possible but not guaranteed. Taittinger: Instant Rosé and practical information.

Use the booking confirmation for the entrance and any updated instructions. Tell your chauffeur the appointment time and the required check-in margin. Avoid treating parking information as permission to arrive at the start time with no time to reach reception.

The practical information lists daily visits from 13 April to 31 December 2026. That is a published seasonal schedule, not a guarantee of an available English slot or a timetable for another year. Use the live booking calendar for your date.

Children, access and the visit format

The official selector also lists Instant Famille, designed around children aged 6–12, with adult tastings specified separately. Check that particular format and departure if you want a family-focused explanation. Taittinger: official experience selector.

For mobility or sensory requirements, contact the house before buying and describe the needs of your party. This guide does not assert an unverified step-free route, lift provision or minimum age for every product. Ask about the exact route, any non-cellar alternative and whether the experience can accommodate your group.

A private chauffeur does not establish an exclusive Taittinger tour. Check the house booking format separately, especially if you want a private visit rather than a regular scheduled departure.

Build the rest of the day around the appointment

For an illustrative city-and-house day, combine a confirmed Taittinger visit with lunch and time in central Reims. A daily lunch candidate near the cathedral is La Grande Georgette; Le Jardin offers a brasserie alternative at Les Crayères. Match the table to the actual house slot and leave a separate transfer margin. La Caserne Chanzy: La Grande Georgette; Les Crayères: Le Jardin.

If you prefer to eat at Taittinger, Polychrome lists lunch Thursday–Monday and has its own reservation link. The published restaurant schedule differs from the cellar schedule, so confirm both bookings. Taittinger: Polychrome restaurant.

For two houses, compare the length of the second experience before reserving. A long Comtes format, lunch and another extended tasting may ask for more of the day than your Paris return arrangements allow. Use the house comparison and restaurant guide to decide what deserves the time.

When enquiring with Reims Van, send the named Taittinger experience, date, preferred language, passenger numbers and Paris pickup area. The day-trip guide explains the reservation order. Your quotation confirms transport arrangements and identifies any separately paid admission or meal costs.
